Aborigines

The Aborigines are the natives of Australia. They have lived for 40.000 to 50.000 years in Australia. The Aborigines are not a unformily nation but they consist of tribes and clans with different customs. Before the arrival of the white people there were 400 to 700 different clans of the Aborigines. With the arrival of the white people the numbers of the Aborigines fell down. First 300.000 to 1.000.000 Aborigines lived in Australia but then only 60.000 in 1920.
The most Aborigines died because of the different illnesses and they fought in violent conflicts against the withe people. Today the most Aborigines live like the with people and in cities. The traditions of the Aborigines are in Northern Territory still like before. There they live in the most place among themselves and so 60% of the Aborigines speak in their own language.

The Aborigines are people from Africa who had left Africa since 100.000 to 130.000 years. They went at the coust of south asia on a land bridge to Australia.
In 1920 only 60.000 Aborigines lived on the earth. In 1991 the numbers of the Aborigines go up to 265.000. Today 464.000 Aborigines live on the earth. So at this statistic you can see that the Aborignies will get more and more. But the Aborigines have many problems: They are the poorest people of the Australian society. 20% of the Aborigines haven't work and not much education. Their life expectany is 10 years under the average of the white population and their child mortality is much higher.

  1. Interesting article about an important topic! In my opinion it's good that you have named the problems of Aborigines or between Aborigines and the old immigrants.
