Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is one of the most famous street of the world, it starts at the south of Geelong and is going along on the west, to Princes Highway.
It's about 300 km long. While autumn and winter you can feel the cold wind of Antarctic.
The mountains of Great Ocean Road are mostly green and wooded, there's a part of rainforest and eucalyptus trees.
The most spectacular part of the coast is going along the Port Campbell Nationalpark, with the cliffs of Twelve Apostles, those are about 60m high and they're insistence of chalk.
After the Uluru they're the most photographed sights of Australia.
From Geelong you're just driving a few minutes to the official start of Great Ocean Road, called Torquay.
It's split into two important parts, first there's the Surfcoast, which is full of swimmers and surfers and a lot of tourists. Then there's shipwreck coast, which is known for it's cliffs and the incomparable panoramic-view.
