Ingredients for 24 servings:
-one packing of dried yeast
-1/2 cup of whipped cream
-1 1/2 cup of milk
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/4 cup of melted butter
-3/4 cup of sugar
- six eggs
-1/4 cup of warm water
-one teaspoon sugar
-six cups of flour
(one cup= 240 ml)
First you have to put the yeast and the teaspoon sugar with the warm water in a small bowl and after mixing it you set it aside. Then you have to scramble the six eggs in a small mixing bowl and add the 3/4 cup of sugar. Your next task is to knead the yeast mixture with the milk, the whipped cream, the butter and the salt. After that you have to incorporate the six cups of flour. Subsequently, form the dough to a ball and hold it 1-1 1/2 hours in abeyance.
Now roll the dough out (ca. 1cm thick) and cut out circles with a hole in it.
Then cover the dough with a greased foil and wait 30 minutes.
Meanwhile you can heat up the cooking oil! When the 30 minutes passed you have to fry the donuts in the oil for ca. one minute on each side.
The finished donuts have to be dry and after draining you can decorate them with chocolate, coloured sprinkles and with everything you like! It´s your own decision ;D
Have fun ^^

Thank you for the recipe, I will try it :-) I think you were working in a group? Would it not be better if you post your entries one after another?
ReplyDeleteHere my suggestions for correction (I can delete it afterwards, if you want):
1) Use "donuts", it's more modern :-)
2) "cup of...", use this consequently!
3) Betweenwhiles?? Do you mean "inzwischen"? It's "meanwhile" :-)
4) decision (your very last word)
Your english is easy to understand, interesting recipe!
