Steve Irwin

Video hinzufügen

Stephen Robert Irwin (mostly called Steve) was born at the 22. February 1962 in Essedon, Victoria.
His wife is called Terri and they've got two kids, Bindi Sue (she's called after Steve's favourite Crocodile Bindi and his dog Sui) and Robert Bob Clarence (named after his father).
Steve Irwin had been a television personality and a wildlife expert. His serial "The Crocodile Hunter" had been produced from the american broadcast station "Animal Planet", so he became really famous after a while.

He and his wife Terri had been the main persons of Crocodile Hunter and they had also a Zoo, named Australia Zoo that had been in Beerwah.
Beerwah is about 80km away from the capital city of Queensland, Brisbane.
Steve's parents built up a Zoo in Queensland, so he woke up with Crocodiles, Reptiles and learned to feet them early.
He got to know his wife Teri while she visited the Zoo, she was also a naturalist and according to them it was love at first sight. Steve Irwin had always been impassioned about his family, his wife and his little kids. Once he described his daughter as the reason why he had put on earth.
He was filmed for a lot documentaries, like "The Crocodile Hunter Diaries, The ten deadliest snakes in the world..) But he was also actor for some movies like "Dr Dolittle 2."
After all that the horrible day of his death appeared. He had been filmed for a new documentary that was called "Oceans Deadliest." It had been at bett reef, before the coast of Port Douglas in north Queensland. (Great Barrier Reef)
The weather wasn't as good as they hoped, so Steve decided to film some stalled water, he swam over a stingray and the animal lashed out with his spine and hurt his chest.
Many people around the world had been shocked of the news that Steve Irwin died.
The Australian Prime Minister just said: "Australia has lost a wonderful and colourful son."
There're a lot memorials of Steve Irwin and his Zoo is existing still today.

Why I chose to write about Steve Irwin
Steve Irwin was something like my biggest hero when I was a child.
I always watched "Crocodile Hunter" and it was a horrible message that he had died.
Even today I'm watching parts of his old serial or some of his interviews. He was an inspire and interesting person, so natural and bloody amusing. He'd just lived an "Aussie way of life", hadn't worried about every little step of his life, he was impassioned in all he did and spread out a strange kind of happiness.
He's something like my favourite australian person or more prominence.

(I also added some links, to the official website of Australia Zoo and a video of Crocodile Hunter, called "Africa's Deadliest Snakes.")
